Hotels, resorts, villas and vacation rentals in The Bahamas

Where you sleep in The Bahamas shapes the whole trip, because each island offers a different kind of stay. Tell us what you want from the week and we will suggest islands and properties that fit, then confirm details with the property on your behalf.

A beachfront resort and marina on Grand Bahama

The Bahamas has roughly four kinds of accommodation. Large resorts are concentrated on Paradise Island and Cable Beach in Nassau, with a few on Grand Bahama and Exuma; they offer pools, restaurants, kids' programmes and organised activities. Boutique hotels and small inns cluster on Harbour Island, in Hope Town and Governor's Harbour, and in George Town, Exuma. Villas and vacation rentals are the dominant choice on Eleuthera, Great Exuma, the Abaco cays and Harbour Island, usually with a car or golf cart. Fishing and dive lodges are the norm on Andros and in the southern islands.

Prices and availability vary widely by season. The peak period runs from mid-December through April, when demand and rates are highest; summer is quieter and less expensive but falls within hurricane season, which runs from June to November.

We do not publish rates or live availability. When you send a request, we check what is actually available for your dates with properties we have verified and reply with specific options.
